YouTube video: Domino Liver Transplant [United States]
Transplant surgeons at Emory University Hospital are the first in the state of Georgia to perform a very rare domino liver transplant procedure. A 24-year-old woman was cured of her rare disease by receiving a liver from a deceased donor. Her liver was then transplanted into a man with haemophilia, hepatitis C and liver cirhhosis.
